The Beijing Big Band, founded in Beijing in May 2007, is China's first traditional big band, composed of over 20 professional and amateur musicians from China and other countries on vocals, saxophones, trombones, trumpets, and a full rhythm section complete with piano, upright bass, guitar, and drums. Our tunes include a range of swing classics from the 1930s to the 1950s, perfect for dancing or just listening.

The Beijing Big Band is available to perform for a variety of venues and occasions such as dinners, balls and galas, and dance parties and other corporate functions. We have performed at a number of venues in Beijing, including the Beijing Hotel, the Raffles Hotel, Yugongyishan, Tango and CD Jazz Café. A favorite of Beijing's growing swing dance community, the Beijing Big Band is always sure to draw a crowd.
